Drama Team

Who are we?

Actors and Scriptwriters

What's our purpose?

To individually and corporately present the gospel of Christ and Christian living teachings through the use of drama, mime etc ...
To equip and release the drama team with the necessary skills to perform, direct, script write etc.
To serve and resource the church in all creative ways.

When & Where do we meet?

Drama workshop hosted every Wednesday night 7:30pm to 9pm. We use our drama workshops as a time to fellowship, rehearse, develop new skills and get to know God!

Poet's Corner:

Who are we?

A team of budding poets - "beginners" and "old hands"!

What's our purpose?

To inspire, encourage and challenge the believer and the unbeliever with devotional & evangelistic poetry.

To worship God with words!

When & Where do we meet?

The poets work from home and email their new material into the Creative House office.

Every three months we host a Poet's Corner evening when we meet to share new work, fellowship and get creative around new themes that will be explored in church over the coming months.

Writer's Nook:

Who are we?

Writers of all sorts...

What's our purpose?

To use words to inspire, challenge, encourage, teach, inform, think and worship.
To write report articles on special services and events.
To write editorial pieces for newspaper, website and magazines e.g. Elim Life
To write short stories for church use.

When & Where do we meet?

The Writer's Nook is a resource library and as events/special services arise, writers are assigned for service.

Writer's Nook combines with Poet's Corner for their quarterly creative sessions.
