Social Action Team

Who are we? 

SAT - stands for "Social Action Team" and is the united team of social action outreach ministries within the church.

What's our purpose?

SAT -  is about  "acknowledging need, raising awareness & offering hope" in the issues that affect the lives of all people.                       

What's on & Where & When do we meet?

The SAT team is working on the development of a number of new outreach and ministry areas reaching both in, to our own church family and out into our local community.

Anything else?

SAT - seeks to be the church in reflecting theologically on its response to social and economic change.

SAT - seeks to bring the "social gospel" to the streets of Bangor and the surrounding areas.

SAT - seeks to initiate and provide relevant and life giving community development outreach within Bangor and the surrounding areas.

SAT - seeks to gather those in the church who serve professionally within the social, health & community sector and utilize their gifts within the churches outreach programme.

SAT - seeks to develop a variety of volunteer development programmes.
