Wedding Fayre - Thursday 19 August 2010

Following the huge success at last years wedding fayre we plan to hold another one on Thursday 19th August at Bangor Conference & Corporate Centre 6pm - 9pm. All proceeds from this event will be going towards building an orphan home in Malawi.

Thursday, 19th August 2010 6pm -9pm.   There will be a wide variety of exhibitors ranging from cars, flowers, wedding cakes, wedding gowns, mens suit hire, venues, catering services, jewellery, entertainment, photography, videography and much much more.  In fact everything you need for your special day can be booked at this event.  Admission free and complementary refreshments.  If you are interested in exhibiting at the Fayre or have a general enquiry, please contact Audrey on 07803 245950 or email a.williamson1@sky.com.

Come and hear the expert on how to “Think Dog” and see the world through your dogs eyes.   

Keith Mathews is probably Northern Ireland’s top dog trainer and behaviour expert.  He had his own hit dog training TV series “Good Dog, Bad Dog” and has appeared as the canine expert on BBCs ”The One Show”.  Keith has a natural talent and rapport with dogs and has developed his own unique “Calmness Leads to Reward”© behaviour training programme.   

The audience will be enthralled as Keith passes on his wisdom, knowledge and expertise in a truly inspirational and entertaining manner.   A night not to be missed!!!

'Walk for Africa' 

19th June 2010  - Sponsored Walk

This will be a Church Family day out. Starting about 10.00a.m. on the 19th June.

£10 minimum sponsorship to be raised by all participating adults, kids come free. Sponsor forms available soon. All funds raised will go towards building a home for elderly in Zambia, a childrens home in Malawi and another in Swaziland. For further details please contact one of the missions team.

 The Missions Team would like to thank all at Bangor Elim who particapated in the Christmas card appeal. We raised £500 for the Iranian Bible appeal.

Also a big thank you to everyone who supported the Gifts for Africa at Christmas. Buying alternative gifts for friends and family raised £685 for Projects in Africa.
